Poland will close two coal mines owned by the state holding JSW, and ten mines mining company PGG Tuesday for three weeks to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus among the miners, said Monday Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin.
He noted that the Polish miners will get paid for the downtime, and that is not any threat to the planned supply of coal will not.
Poland reported on the rapid growth in the number of cases of coronavirus among miners, and coal region on the South of the country recorded the highest number of infection cases.
