For the payment of debts on a salary to miners state-owned coal enterprises listed 339 million, according to the Ministry of energy of Ukraine on Wednesday, 1 July.
"on 26 June, the Ministry of Finance, at the proposal of the energy Ministry, made an approximation of the budget allocations under the program "Restructuring the coal industry" from November - December to June. 339 million UAH directed for the repayment of wage arrears to the miners for April and may of 2020," - said the Ministry.
It said that for 6 months 2020 coal producers for payment of wages and arrears on it sent 3, 5 billion hryvnia.
According to the Ministry of energy of Ukraine, as of 01.07.2020 the total debt of the state mining enterprises on wages for 2015-2020 amounts to 271 million (including 2020 124 million hryvnia).
"Specified debt may be repaid only with the proceeds from coal sales," said the Ministry.
