The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine sent money through the Ministry of Finance to pay wages to miners in Ukrainian state mines. According to the request sent by the Ministry of Energy, funds in the amount of 653,029.0 thousand hryvnia should be transferred to the enterprises of the industry as early as Monday, August 16.
“We are well aware of the problem of miners, every day we are in touch with trade unions, and with representatives of local authorities, and with the management of mines ... The issue is under constant control. As of today, the Ministry of Energy has received all the approvals from the government, the budget committee of the Verkhovna Rada, and on Monday, as planned, the Ministry of Finance will send funds to pay wages, "said Herman Galuschenko, Minister of Energy of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Energy recalled that as of 06/08/2021, state coal mining enterprises carried out an inventory for April-June 2021 and after the approval of the distribution of these funds among recipients, the Ministry turned to the Ministry of Finance with a request to send funds in the amount of 653,029.0 thousand hryvnia to pay wages to miners.
