The overall dimensions of the dump (4.7 m by 2.5 m) make it possible to move dozens of cubic meters of rock in one pass. The bulldozer is also equipped with a special ripper, necessary for the preparation and processing of hard soils.
Such giant machines are indispensable career assistants, said Ruslan Bystrov, head of the automotive tractor Department at LGOC.
"They are successfully coping with the laying of roads and railways, the formation of access roads to excavators, the construction of exits between horizons and the creation of transshipment sites. Together with Novichok, 21 more tracked and five wheeled bulldozers are working in the quarry."The control of the machine is simplified as much as possible thanks to a modern hydromechanical transmission with an electrohydraulic control system. The driver can effectively control the bulldozer using joysticks located in the cabin, which significantly increases the comfort of work and the accuracy of operations.
The safety of the driver is ensured by a modern fire extinguishing system and a ROPS protective device – a reinforced U-shaped frame above the cabin, which can withstand significant loads in the event of a possible rollover of the machine.

Thanks to its modular design, all key components and systems – chassis, transmission, working equipment, cabin and controls – are easily accessible for maintenance and repair.
The new bulldozer is another step in a large–scale program to upgrade the fleet of equipment at the Lebedinsky Mining and Transportation Complex. Since November 2024, a modern high-performance mining excavator WK-35 with a bucket volume of 23 m3, two 15-cubic and one 12-cubic EKG, two SBSH-270 drilling rigs manufactured by UZTM-KARTEX have been put into operation there.
