In November 2021, auditors of Bureau Veritas Certification Ukraine conducted an audit of the plant's divisions for compliance with the requirements of international standards of an integrated management system in the field of quality, ecology and labor protection. The audit was carried out in the sinter, blast-furnace, oxygen-compressor shops, hot and cold rolling shops, thermal power plants, radioisotope laboratory, railway transport management and other departments.
During the audit, the auditors highly appreciated the level of functioning of the integrated management system, an effective system of preventive quality management, commitment to environmentally friendly solutions implemented at the enterprise, and an informal approach of personnel to health and safety issues.
Based on the results of the audit, Zaporizhstal was recommended to renew certificates for compliance with ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 19001: 2015, as well as to receive a certificate confirming the compliance of the labor protection system with the requirements of ISO 45001: 2018.
Note that Zaporizhstal has been certified since 2008 and regularly confirms its compliance with international standards for environmental management systems, energy management, quality management, and health and safety management.
