In Mariupol, the equipment of the heavy-plate rolling mill of the Azovstal metallurgical plant of the Metinvest group was modernized.
In ten days, the specialists of the plate shop, together with contractors, completed the planned work on the repair of stands, roller tables, as well as mechanical, electrical, power equipment and automation control equipment involved in the 3600 mill and the sheet processing section. Power supply and ventilation systems have been restored to the design state.
In December, the updated sections of the workshop will be fully commissioned. The performed modernization will increase the productivity of the mill and the quality of products.
