The Westinghouse company donated humanitarian aid for Ukrainian nuclear power plants. In particular, these are means of control, security and communications, radiation protection and control. This was reported by the National Nuclear Power Generation Company of Ukraine Energoatom.

“Energoatom takes care of meeting the needs of Ukrainian nuclear power plants. Westinghouse donated a batch of humanitarian aid to the nuclear power plant, including security and communications equipment, radiation protection and control,” the nuclear company said in a statement.

Energoatom indicated that this equipment will strengthen Energoatom's emergency preparedness and response systems, as well as the protection of Ukrainian nuclear power plants from the Russian threat.

Ukrainian nuclear company expects to extend cooperation with Westinghouse in joint projects to improve Ukraine's energy security.
