Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant (DMZ, formerly Evraz-DMZ), which is part of the DCH group of companies of Kharkiv businessman Alexander Yaroslavsky, has been producing metal products for the European market for more than 10 years. Every year, international auditors check whether the company's activities comply with international standards.
The other day, another supervisory inspection took place. The auditors found out how the quality of hot-rolled steel is controlled at DMZ.
The inspection was carried out by representatives of Technical and Management Services (TMS), the official partner of TUV ZYUD in Ukraine.
In the production divisions, engaged in the manufacture and control of finished rolled products for the European market, checked the correctness of maintaining technological documentation, assessed how the quality control of raw materials and finished products is carried out. Conducted interviews with managers and employees. The procedure for taking, preparing and analyzing samples of rolled products in the Central Factory Laboratory was reviewed.
TMS representatives confirmed that the factory factory production control system meets the requirements of the Building Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 and the EN 10025-1 standard « Hot-rolled products from structural steels.
According to the results of the audit, the validity of the certificate of conformity was extended for another year, which allows the company to continue to supply hot-rolled products to Europe.
DMZ specializes in the production of steel , cast iron, rolled products and products from them. On March 1, 2018, the DCH Group signed an agreement on the purchase of the Dnipro Metallurgical Plant from Evraz. According to the NRU, for the fourth quarter of 2020, Drampisco Limited (Cyprus) owns 97.7346% of the shares of DMZ.
