According to the international association of steel producers Worldsteel, Ukraine took 34th place in the ranking of 64 major countries global producers of these products, while in December it was in 38th place.
According to Worldsteel, in January 2023, a decrease in steel production was recorded by January 2022 in most countries of the top ten, except for China and Iran.
