52 turbine coastal wind farms with a total capacity of 200 MW has started to generate clean energy, announced on Monday the energy company DTEK.
Station will generate 700 million kWh of "green" electricity annually. This is sufficient to ensure the electricity needs of 360 thousand apartments or private homes. Also, the station will help to reduce emissions of CO₂ in the atmosphere at 750 thousand tons annually.
On coastal VES implemented unique technical solutions which allow to operate the equipment with maximum efficiency. Wind works first in Ukraine digitalna substation. The individual capacity of each wind turbine produced by GE company – 3.8 MW.
Investment in the project of the Maritime WPP totaled 321 million euros, of which 180 million euros is debt financing from German banks guaranteed by export credit agencies Euler Hermes (Germany) and CESCE (Spain).
