the Government of Ukraine adopted a decision which enables "green auctions" for the sale of energy produced from alternative sources on a transparent auctions through the area "Prozora.Sale".
"This will stimulate production of alternative energy and will reduce the price of clean energy," said Prime Minister Alexey Goncharuk.
the decision of the government creates conditions for the development of renewable energy, it will attract cheap credit resources and will contribute to the development of high-tech equipment on the territory of Ukraine, said the Agency Saee.
According to the Agency, the key features of the "green" auction, which provides for the resolution will be:
- to ensure fair competition among the bidders;
- preserve the full confidentiality about the participants and the submitted bids and full disclosure of all information after the completion of trading;
- automatic generation of the electronic trading system of the Protocol on results of the auctions and definition of winners, eliminates the influence of the "human factor";
- to ensure public control over the whole process of the auction;
- convenience and simplicity to investors, does not use paper documents or physical presence of participants at the preparation stage and conduct of the auction.
the First auction is scheduled for April 2020.
