New state construction norms (DBN) "high-rise buildings. Basic principles" developed by the state enterprise "Scientific-research Institute of building production" to replace DBC "Design of high-rise residential and public buildings" in 2009. The standard applies to buildings and constructions public and residential purpose higher than 73.5 m
President of KSU added that the new DBN is relevant primarily for designers and architects of the capital, as they give them the opportunity to implement a more modern, safe and comfortable projects for people and not to seek additional permissions from state oversight.
"Therefore, the new standards, we not only improved the quality of building construction, implemented modern solutions, but also made it impossible requests for deviations in the future" - said Leo Partskhaladze.
Among the innovations that went into effect included the following changes:
- Allowed to design high-rise public buildings up to 150 m;
- a mandatory energy efficiency of tall buildings a class "A";
- Set out the requirements for stiffness of steel and composite structures for the design of more robust skeletons of tall buildings;
- Added aerodynamic airflow models of high-rise buildings with complex architectural, structural or geometric shape to provide a comfortable wind flows;
- Increased current requirements for fire safety.
the State construction norms (DBN) - binding regulations that are used in the design of new and reconstruction of existing buildings, districts, neighborhoods, streets, and roads according to their purpose.
the New rules came into effect on January 1, 2020.
