electric-furnace melting complex "Interpipe Steel", the international vertically integrated pipe and wheel company (TAC) "Interpipe" (Dnipro) Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk in January this year has reduced production of steel, according to operative data, by 8% compared to the same period last year, but increased 14% compared to the previous month – to 65.2 thousand tonnes.
As have informed Agency "Interfax-Ukraine" the representative of the company in January 2019 were smelted 71 thousand tons of steel in December last year to 57.1 thousand tons of steel.
Previously coalsalesthat "Interpipe" in 2019, reduced steel output by 12% compared to the previous year 854,5 thousand tons (in 2018 973 thousand tons).
"Interpipe" is among the ten largest producers of seamless pipes, is the third largest producer of forged railway wheels in the world.
the company has five industrial assets: Interpipe Nizhnedneprovsky tube rolling plant (NTRP), Interpipe Novomoskovsk pipe plant (nmpp), Interpipe Niko-tube, Dnipropetrovsk Vtormet and electric steel-melting complex of Ukraine under the brand of Interpipe Steel.
