This product is intended for the construction of directional and horizontal wells, which produced "shale" oil and gas occurring in tight layers, shales, tight sandstones and limestones. Thanks to the "shale revolution" and new technologies in drilling over the past decade the US has doubled oil production.
the Task of joining Intrepid-SP – to maintain the sealability of the column under the action of complex loads and to ensure safe rotation during descent. This rotation is a necessary technological condition for the construction of horizontal sections of the wells with large deviations from the vertical.
Intrepid-SP can also be used in the development of traditional fields, but with hard to recover reserves. For example, in multilateral wells with horizontal endings, or in the case, when the main trunk of the existing wells "add" a new horizontal section.
