Zaporizhzhya metallurgical plant reported a decrease in the production of finished rolled steel in March 2020 21.8% compared to March 2019.
Total for March 2020 at Zaporizhstal produced 355,8 thousand tons of iron (-8,1% by March 2019), 300,8 thousand tons of steel (-15,5%), 233,6 thousand tons of finished rolled steel (-21,8%).
"the Decline in production in March 2020 due to the complex capital repairs of the main production units of PJSC "Zaporizhstal" steel works: blast furnace № 5 and rolling mills slabbing-1150 and ntls-1680" – said at the plant.
January to March 2020 at Zaporizhstal produced 1125,8 thousand tons of iron (+0.9% compared to the same period last year), 959,7 thousand tons of steel (-6,6%), 797,6 thousand tons of rolled stock (-9,2%).
In 2019 at Zaporizhstal produced 4 360,8 thousand tons of iron, 4 004,5 thousand tons of steel, 3 348,7 thousand tons of rolled stock.
