At the Dnieper Metallurgical Plant (DMK), at the pipe procurement section of the rolling shop, pilot rolling of a round billet with a diameter of 70 mm was carried out, intended for sale to an external consumer.
Circle-70 is used for the manufacture of machine parts and mechanisms in various industries.
“DMK received an order for a batch of 65 tons of circle-70. We considered the possibilities of mastering a new type of product and successfully rolled it. In the future, we will be able to produce wheels-70 in larger volumes, ”says Alexander Oleinik, chief distributor of the plant.
The team of distributors is working towards expanding the range of rolled products and increasing the package of orders for DMK.
At the pipe procurement section, work continues on the development of circle-40, which allows to reduce the technological load on the section rolling mill and reduce metal losses from under-rolling.
Production technologies are also being improved at the company's ball rolling mills. Taking into account the increased demand for ball-30 in the metal products market, DMK specialists have modernized the loading table of the workpiece pusher. The purpose of the measures taken is to increase the productivity of the NPS in the production of ball-30 In April, distributors expect to get effective results of their work.
