Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant (NKMZ) plans in 2021, compared to 2020, to grow in production volumes by 10%, and in terms of wages in dollar terms - by no less than 10%. This was stated by the President of JSC NKMZ Georgy Skudar in an interview with the corporate publication Vestnik NKMZ.
“Implementation of the efficiency strategy program can provide a 1.6-fold increase in salaries to enterprise personnel in dollar terms in five years,” he said.
According to Skudar, the main strategic directions of NKMZ development for the coming years will be efficiency improvement, creation of new equipment, comprehensive professional development and retraining of personnel, as well as deeper implementation of information systems.
He said that as a result of the deterioration of the situation at the enterprise in the second half of 2020, the first quarter of 2021 will be difficult for NKMZ. However, the 14% higher planned capacity utilization of the enterprise in October and November 2020 and the planned indicators in December give NKMZ management confidence that the situation will improve.
“In comparison with 2019, the results of the current year will be positive in terms of the receipt of funds, the volume of commercial products and wages. We will carry out almost all technical re-equipment programs. New machines will be purchased in the planned amount and the existing ones will be modernized, "Skudar noted.
