In 2020, a very important fact was recorded at PJSC Energomashspetsstal - the absence of accidents related to production, and a decrease in the level of industrial injuries in comparison with 2019 by 100%. The significance of this indicator is difficult to overestimate, because the absence of cases of injuries at work means the saved life and health of workers.
The issues of occupational safety and health of people have always been and remain the main ones for the enterprise, they are given special attention by the management of the plant. Every year, EMSS carries out a number of practical measures aimed at improving the state of labor protection and preventing injuries. During 2020, 5 planned activities were carried out at EMSS, working and production conditions were improved for 132 employees, including 38 women.
Summing up the results of labor protection for 2020, the head of the labor protection department of PJSC "EMSS" Evgeny Malovichko noted that over the past year in this area, the EMSS team has achieved significant success: indicators: by the number of accidents, by the coefficient of severity, by the coefficient of frequency, as well as by the number of lost days of working capacity. ”
In 2020, the employees of the labor protection department, together with the heads of the departments, carried out work to organize and conduct preliminary and periodic medical examinations in medical institutions in Kramatorsk. The cost of a medical examination last year amounted to UAH 112,087.
The guarantee of industrial safety and health of the plant workers is the availability of high-quality, comfortable and functional overalls, special shoes and other personal protective equipment. So, in 2020, more than UAH 1.5 million was spent to provide employees with PPE.
In 2020, the investments of PJSC EMSS in the labor protection of its employees increased by 80% compared to 2019 and amounted to about UAH 7.5 million. The company will continue to invest in improving working conditions, as well as in the implementation of measures to prevent injuries and occupational diseases.
