On March 17, at a meeting of the government of Ukraine, a resolution was adopted that amends the procedure for using funds under the program of partial compensation for the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment of domestic production.
“The adopted changes will contribute to an increase in the number of agricultural producers who can take advantage of the support, upgrade their machinery and equipment on preferential terms. Among the forecasted results of the implementation of the support program are an increase in the number of machine-building enterprises and an expansion of the range of equipment, the creation of more than 500 new jobs and 1.8 billion hryvnia of taxes paid, ”commented Igor Petrashko, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
It is planned to allocate UAH 1 billion for this program in 2021.
Taking advantage of the support program, one agricultural producer can count on financial support in the amount of UAH 60 million.
Legal entities and individuals - entrepreneurs - agricultural producers can receive 25% compensation for the purchased agricultural equipment.
For the period December 2019 and January - November 2020, 892.6 million hryvnias of compensation were paid under the program "Partial compensation for the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment of domestic production". In total, 14 946 units of agricultural machinery were purchased using subsidies.
