Zaporozhtransformator has successfully tested and is preparing for shipment four transformers of the TDN-100000/132-T1 type to National Grid S.A., a division of the Saudi Electricity Company. Immediately upon the arrival of the transformers at the facility, it is planned to install and start up equipment in the presence of a representative of the Service Center of PJSC "Zaporozhtransformator".
Receipt of each new order for the technical departments of Zaporozhtransformator is the design of practically new equipment, the press service of the plant noted. Even visually similar transformers, in fact, can turn out to be structurally completely different due to the fact that the manufacture of electrical equipment belongs to high-tech production. Many parameters matter: different climatic conditions, which differ dramatically on different continents; height above sea level; seismic situation in the region; humidity level and a number of other factors that determine the design of transformer equipment.
Specialists of the design department went to the site and carried out measurements of the old transformer with their own hands with minimum tolerances. It is not the first time that Zaporozhtransformator employees have to deal with such requirements and a certain algorithm of actions has already been developed, the implementation of which guarantees the success of the order.
Let us remind you that entering the market of Saudi Arabia required consolidated measures to study the requirements of this market by representatives of the Zaporozhtransformator sales service, as well as specialists from technical services and quality services. As a result, the plant successfully passed pre-qualification in the SEC and was included in the list of approved suppliers, both in the "transmission" and "generation" sectors.
