Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant (DMZ), a member of DCH Steel of the DCH group of businessman Alexander Yaroslavsky, continues to upgrade its production facilities. According to the press service of the DMZ, in particular, work is underway to modernize the section of the heating wells of the rolling shop No. 1.
In April-May, two "cold" maintenance repairs of recuperative wells No. 1 and No. 5 were performed at the site.
The workshop is undergoing a major overhaul of the recuperative well No. 6, in which the company has invested about 1.5 million hryvnia. It is carried out by employees of the DMZ.
Now the repair is on the home stretch, all the main work has been completed in the working space of the furnace, the masonry has been replaced. In the near future, the enterprise will be supplied with refractories for the repair of a ceramic recuperator. It is planned to be completed in June.
After a short break, in August-September, it is planned to start a major overhaul of the heating well No. 8 of the recuperative group at the site.
