The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated 106 million hryvnia from the reserve fund of the state budget for the restoration of aviation equipment used in emergency response and other civil defense tasks. The corresponding project was developed by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
“The government is constantly taking measures to prevent threats to the lives of Ukrainian citizens and to ensure environmental protection. To eliminate large-scale fires and floods, as well as to carry out humanitarian aid tasks. It is extremely important for the government to maintain the aircraft equipment of the DSNS in good condition, "said First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko.
The funds will be used to restore 7 aircraft and 12 helicopters that are in disrepair today, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine said.
