According to preliminary data from Ukrmetallurgprom, in January-July 2021, metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine smelted 12.73 million tons of steel, which is 7.4% more than in the same period last year (APPG).
Also in the reporting period, 11.35 million tonnes of finished steel were produced (+ 6.6% versus AGPP) and 12.65 million tonnes of pig iron (+ 7.7% versus AGPP) were produced.
