The growth rate of steel production in Ukraine decreased slightly compared to 7.4% in January-July.
According to preliminary data of Ukrmetallurgprom, for 8 months of 2021 Ukrainian ferrous metallurgy enterprises produced:
- pig iron 14.50 million tons (107.0% compared to January-August 2020),
- steel 14.60 million tons (106.7%),
- rolled stock 12.999 million tons (105.9%).
