At the Sinarsky Pipe Plant (Sinarsky Pipe Plant (SinTZ), which is part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), a modern automated line for non-destructive testing of pipes (LKT) - "LKT-CTT3" was put into operation in the pipe-rolling shop No. 3 (T-3). Its productivity is at least 60 pipes per hour.
Ultrasonic and magnetic induction methods of non-destructive testing are used on the line. The first allows you to identify deviations in the thickness of the pipe wall, the second detects violations of the continuity (homogeneity) of the metal, which affect the quality of the pipe, reduce its reliability and service life.
