On the eve of the main professional holiday - Miner's Day, solemn honoring of the best workers and veterans took place in JSC "MC" Kuzbassrazrezugol "(an enterprise of the raw materials complex of UMMC). This year they were also dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the coal company.
“For 55 years, Kuzbassrazrezugol miners have produced 1 billion 800 million tons of coal. This is a huge figure, behind which there is a very complex engineering, technical, intellectual work of people ", - General Director of UMMC Andrey Kozitsyn greeted those gathered at the Gala Reception in honor of the Miner's Day and the anniversary of the Coal Company.
For his outstanding contribution to the development of the mining and metallurgical industry of the Russian Federation, UMMC General Director Andrey Kozitsyn was awarded the honorary badge of the Academy of Mining Sciences - the author's statuette of the work sculptor V.F. Mitroshina "Mother Earth". The award was presented by the President of the Academy of Mining Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Yuri Malyshev. Big Gold Medal named after M.I. Shchadov (Minister of the Coal Industry of the USSR in 1985-1991), established by the Academy of Mining Sciences, Sergey Paramonov, Director of JSC MC Kuzbassrazrezugol, was awarded for his great contribution to the development of the coal industry of the Russian Federation.

The production results of the mining year within the company were traditionally summed up at the Solemn and Brigadier receptions. The best were recognized: among the branches - the Kedrovsky coal mine, among the collectives of the mountain areas - the mountain area No. 2, Osinnikovskoye field (Kaltansky coal strip mine), among the processing plants - the collective of the Krasnobrodskaya-Koksovaya PF (Krasnobrodsky coal mine), among the technological convoys - the collective technological convoy number 1 of the Krasnobrodsky coal mine.
The culmination of the celebration was the presentation of 10 - cars to the best miners and foremen - winners and prize-winners of the mining year. In addition, all the awarded teams received cups, diplomas, cash prizes and gifts. In total, during the festive celebrations, the miners of the Company were presented with almost a thousand state, regional, departmental and corporate awards.
The festive events dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Miner and the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Kuzbassrazrezugol Management Company will end with performances by Russian pop stars and fireworks, which the Coal Company will present to residents of the mining villages where its branches are located.
