Another significant event in honor of the 60th anniversary of PJSC "Gaysky GOK" (an enterprise of the raw materials complex of UMMC) and the Miner's Day was the solemn ceremony of launching the shaft of the mine "Operational" ... The facility was put into pilot operation after reconstruction, which has lasted since 2011. The shaft of the mine was deepened from 830 to 1421 meters. The facility was launched by the push of a lever by UMMC General Director Andrey Kozitsyn and Acting Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler.
- The launch of the "Operational" mine shaft is a gift not only to miners, but also to the whole city. The development of Gaysky GOK and our entire company, as well as the prosperity of the entire territory, depend on the smooth operation of this facility, on the reconstruction of which a lot of time and effort was spent. The final stage of the large project was the installation of new lifting equipment - a skip mine lifting machine (SHM) manufactured at Uralmashzavod (Yekaterinburg). It replaced an existing elevator that had reached its end of life.

Skip lifting equipment is designed to deliver rock mass from a horizon of 1310 meters. work was carried out at each of the elevations of the 104-meter headframe of the mine "Operational". At elevation "+54" meters electrical equipment for the control of the skip machine was mounted, cable routes were laid. At elevation "+68" a deflecting pulley was installed. "The entire mechanical part of the lifting unit is located. At present, the equipment is being debugged.

Recall that the new mine hoisting machine is the largest machine on the Russian market: the diameter of the traction sheave is 5 meters. The mine winder is equipped with two motors of 5.5 MW each, a hydraulic braking system, a hardware control system and a shaft alarm. A high level of automation is provided in the lifting unit: the machine has a modern control system developed by domestic programmers, with visualization of all technological parameters of work on the operator's console, the necessary protections and interlocks that will avoid errors in the operation of equipment and personnel.
“Our machine is as economical as possible in terms of energy consumption, which will ultimately reduce the production cost of the final product of the GOK, and equipping the machine with a hydraulic brake system significantly improves the technological management of production and increases the level of safety,” says Rustam Mukhametdinov, chief designer of the mine winder at Uralmashzavod. /p>
The lifting machine was designed by Uralmashplant specialists taking into account the needs of the Gaysky GOK. The mine winder was installed on the existing foundation in the headframe and built into the existing premises.
Before the reconstruction, ore was discharged along the shaft from the 750-meter horizon in the amount of 4.5 million tons per year. After the completion of the work, the raw materials will come from the 1340 meter mark in the same volume and more.
