The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) presented the author's project "People with character", which tells about representatives of labor dynasties and employees of the company who are dedicated to their work and strive to change the world around them for the better. The pilot landing page of the multi-part multimedia project was posted on the TMK brand media platform "Trubnik Online" on the eve of the Spring and Labor Holiday.
The first publication in the framework of the project was the history of the Zyuzev labor dynasty from the Seversky Pipe Plant (STZ), the oldest enterprise within TMK. For five generations, craftsmen from this family brought ore from the Sysert mines to the Seversk blast furnace in the 19th century, in the 1920s the Zyuzevs lit the first factory open-hearth furnace, and in the 1960s they launched new workshops of the enterprise. The author and the project team convey respect for work, loyalty to traditions and love for the native land of the dynasty members through various multimedia tools, including photo and video materials, infographics, and text blocks.
The author and photographer of the project was Mikhail Sinitsyn, a special photojournalist at the TASS news agency. The Zyuzevs' story is the first in a series of stories about TMK's factory dynasties. It will be followed by materials from other companies of the company. Separate materials on the landing page will also be dedicated to TMK employees who demonstrate the talents and values of pipe workers: love for family and loved ones, creativity and innovative thinking, preserving and transferring experience and knowledge to the next generation, striving for work achievements and responsibility for results.
"The uniqueness of the project lies in the use of various media formats – text materials, author's photographs, video frames, which make information as accessible as possible to a wide audience. This helps to strengthen the image of metallurgy and the pipe industry, and the focus on people and their stories allows us to emphasize the importance of a person of labor and the prestige of working professions. By demonstrating the material from different angles, the effect of full immersion of the reader is created, which we will continue to actively use on the Trubnik Online portal", - said Ayla Belousova, project curator, head of TMK's digital media department.
Trubnik Online is TMK's corporate information and analysis platform with materials in various formats, including texts, videos, photographs, podcasts, and infographics. The brand media with unique content about pipe production, new technologies and trends in the metallurgical industry, sustainable development, employees and regions of TMK's presence was launched in 2023.
