The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) applies a business excellence model at its enterprises, within the framework of which self-diagnosis of business processes and achieved results is carried out. TMK representatives spoke about the effectiveness of such work at the round table "The Russian Government's Quality Award: 29 years of New Business Opportunities", which was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the award's establishment.
Self-diagnosis allows you to determine the company's current position on the path to achieving the highest possible level of product and process quality and promptly adjust existing quality assessment mechanisms to reflect external changes. It is conducted according to several key criteria: results and customer orientation, leadership and consistency of purpose, process management, professional development and staff engagement, continuous improvement and innovation, partnership development, corporate social responsibility.
