The Scientific and Technical Center (STC) of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) received "gold" according to the results of a study by Forbes and Pridex."Top non-headquarters of Russian companies". This is a large-scale independent study of best practices in creating workspaces focused on employee comfort and business efficiency. In 2025, its focus shifted for the first time to spaces outside its head offices.
During the study, offices were evaluated according to six criteria: building quality, location, ergonomics, human-centricity, adaptability, and environmental friendliness. An independent expert jury also voted. The result of the study was the federal ranking "Top non-headquarters of Russian companies 2025", where all the winners were ranked in three categories: "platinum", "gold", and "silver".
STC TMK entered the "gold" category. The facility received the highest "platinum" rating for environmental solutions and green initiatives of the office staff, as well as high "gold" ratings for building quality and ergonomics. Located in Moscow, the modern high-tech research center conducts research in the field of metallurgy and metal science, using best practices in the development, prototyping, testing and launching innovative products on the market. In addition to the laboratory complex, which has extensive research and testing capabilities, STC TMK accommodates a representative office with comfortable workplaces, a multifunctional conference room, as well as the headquarters of the TMK2U Corporate University with classrooms for trainings and training courses.
"TMK's Scientific and Technical Center is one of the company's key facilities, where scientific potential, engineering competencies and advanced infrastructure are combined. The facility meets high requirements for environmental friendliness and comfort, which is confirmed by an appropriate international certificate and a victory in prestigious national competitions. In addition, the NTC is a creative space that promotes the self—realization of employees and the development of new technological solutions. In particular, the "1% for art" principle was used in the implementation of the project: 1% of the budget was allocated for the creation and placement of works of art — stained glass windows, installations and paintings by Russian artists that make the center truly unique," said Andrey Drovosekov, TMK's Administrative Director.
The rating of the headquarters of Russian companies has been compiled by FResearch (special projects of the Forbes business magazine) and the Pridex construction company since 2023.
