Employees of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) developed and presented social projects, as well as received awards during the third corporate Volunteer Forum in Yekaterinburg. More than 260 volunteers from 31 Russian cities took part in the event, which was organized by the Sinara Charitable Foundation.
During the forum, the heads of the company, the foundation and partner organizations summed up the results of volunteer activities in 2025. The volunteers, employees of TMK's factories and divisions, were awarded with awards and prizes. In the team competition, the third place was taken by employees of the Sinar Pipe Plant (SinTZ), who devoted a total of more than 2.5 thousand hours to volunteer work. 25 TMK employees were awarded in the "Volunteer of the Year" nomination, each of whom worked more than 100 volunteer hours.
Nine people were recognized as "Curators of the Year" for the development of the volunteer movement at the company's enterprises. The title of "Ecotropostroitel of the Year" was awarded to seven employees of the Volga Pipe (VTZ) and Orsk Machine-building (OMZ) plants. "The projects of the year 2025" were the initiatives "I remember and I am proud!" Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) and "A fairy tale in every home" VTZ.
The key block of the program was the strategic session, during which the participants developed and presented new social projects. The first place was taken by the idea proposed by ChelPipe "Games of different peoples" — it is designed to introduce children to the culture of the peoples of the region through traditional outdoor games. The project will be implemented during 2026 by all volunteer teams.
"The volunteer movement is an important area of TMK's social policy. Today, the company has almost 1.5 thousand active volunteers, and their number is increasing by about a third every year. Systematic support for volunteer initiatives allows employees to make a significant contribution to the development of the regions where they operate," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Personnel Management.
The Sinara Foundation's Volunteer Center consistently supports the volunteer initiatives of partner organizations. In 2025, we have managed to significantly expand the scope of projects and increase employee engagement. The Volunteer Forum has become a platform for the exchange of practices and the formation of new initiatives that will be implemented in different companies and regions of Russia," said Natalia Levitskaya, President of the Sinara Charitable Foundation.
Sinara Charitable Foundation was established in September 2001 and has been acting as a single operator of charitable activities of TMK and its enterprises since 2007. He implements socially significant long-term programs in the field of healthcare, education, and culture in the regions where the company operates.
