More than 800 TMK employees received awards for the 25th anniversary of the company

The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) celebrated its 25th anniversary on April 17, 2026. By the company's anniversary, more than 800 employees were awarded state, departmental, regional and corporate awards for their great contribution to the development of the metallurgical industry and many years of diligent work.

The awards include Letters of Appreciation from the President of the Russian Federation, the title of "Honorary Metallurgist" and Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, awards from regional authorities, corporate awards from TMK and its subsidiaries.

Also, to mark the anniversary date, solemn meetings were held in the regions of TMK's presence with the participation of the leadership of the regions, municipalities and enterprises, corporate events for employees and environmental actions.

"This date testifies to the maturity, viability and success of our company. A quarter of a century has been a significant period, and throughout this time TMK has been on the path of leadership. TMK is no longer just a pipe company, but a full-fledged engineering holding company, and we will continue to move forward in this new segment for us. The next 25 years will be a period of transformation for the company, qualitative growth of competencies and the development of new industrial niches," said Sergey Chikalov, CEO of TMK.

Over the past 25 years, TMK has achieved leadership positions in the industry through the implementation of a large-scale technical re-equipment program, which has completely rebuilt the steelmaking industry, introduced modern pipe-rolling facilities, and switched to more environmentally friendly technologies. In addition, the company has established a strong research base and created its own competence generator, the TMK2U Corporate University. The company's plants are successfully transforming into digital production complexes, implementing efficiency programs at all stages of production and process management.

TMK was formed in 2001, and its foundation was formed by three leading domestic metallurgical enterprises — Volzhsky (VTZ), Seversky (STZ) and Sinarsky (SinTZ) pipe plants, as well as TMK Trading House (TMK Trading House). Later, they were joined by Taganrog Metallurgical (TAGMET) and Orsk Machine-building (OMZ) plants, as well as a number of oilfield service enterprises, on the basis of which TMK Neftegazservice was established. In 2021, TMK included Pervouralsky Novotrubny (PNTZ) and Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling (ChelPipe) plants and several assets that merged into TMK's Mainline Engineering Division. The company also includes two large research centers — the Scientific and Technical Center (STC) in Moscow and the Russian Scientific Research Institute of the Pipe Industry.
