Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) presented its experience in improving the quality management system and staff competencies at the conference "Quality as a Strategy: Legacy and Traditions of the Russian Government Quality Award", organized by the autonomous non-profit organization "Russian Quality System" (Roskachestvo). The event was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the award.
Anatoly Sychev, Director of the Directorate for Consumer Relations on Quality Issues, told the participants about TMK's corporate quality management system, the solutions the company uses to develop in this area, as well as the successful experience of the company's branches participating in the competition for the Russian Government Quality Award. He highlighted the advantages of cooperation between TMK and Roskachestvo, such as identifying strengths and growth points and obtaining an expert assessment of business processes.
In turn, Olga Rud, Director of Client Program Development at TMK2U Corporate University, presented TMK's experience in expanding and strengthening the managerial and professional competencies of employees, as well as competencies in the field of quality and services as tools for business development. She noted that TMK was spreading its best practices, including through joint events with Roskachestvo, such as the Digital Transformation of Quality and Lean Manufacturing and Engagement Management forums.
During the conference, the company's employees were awarded diplomas from the head of Roskachestvo for achievements in the development of the quality management system. The awardees included Anatoly Sychev, Olga Rud, Head of TMK's Independent Inspection Elena Bazhanova, Head of TMK's Product Management and Certification Systems Department Ruslana Sidorenko, as well as Director of Product Control and Testing at Pervouralsky Novotrubny Plant (PNTZ, TMK branch) Valery Turbar.

We are implementing advanced technologies, commissioning new equipment, improving the management structure and involving employees in these processes. In particular, we took into account the criteria of the government award during the TMK Quality Leader corporate competition, thanks to which we introduced new solutions for more active employee participation in quality assurance, nonconformity prevention and strengthening the company's business reputation.
