BC UMMC - thirteen times champion of Russia

After the second game of the series to three wins at a press conference, the UMMC mentor Miguel Mendes said that the third meeting would be the most difficult. In the end, it actually happened. The final match between the teams in Kursk turned into one endless chase. But the UMMC, as a real marathon runner, again came to the finish line first, precisely distributing its forces along the distance.

On the home floor, the "blue-white" immediately rushed right off the bat, convincingly starting the game, and assigning guests the role of catch-up. Center Natasha Howard and Kvanitra Hollingsworth worked especially in Kursk, staking out the first ten-minute segment for the hosts - 18:11. But Lucas Mondello's wards did not succeed in taking control of the game completely.

The pressure of the reigning champion Kurdish woman was restrained by her aggressive defense, which contributed to a set of personal remarks. A bust of team fouls "dynamos " allowed "orange " to gain easy points from the foul line.

The beginning of the second ten minutes turned out to be not easy for Miguel Mendes' charges, although the reigning champions started with a snatch 4: 0 - the main center Brittney Greiner acted as an assistant for Courtney Wanderslut and Maria Vadeeva. But after a time-out, Dynamo quickly rebuilt, and the return spurt brought the blue-white maximum advantage in the score - 26:17.

But this only inflamed the guests. Evgenia Belyakova, having robbed Natasha Howard, reduced the team lag to one accurate long-range shot - 33:30. Following Emma Meesseman did the same with Elena Kirillova, launching Brittney Greiner into the lead - 33:32. However, the last word before the siren for a break was left for Quanitra Hollingsworth - 35:32.

But after a long break, long-range hits by Courtney Wanderslut, Keila McBride and Evgenia Belyakova irrevocably tipped the scales in the other direction, and by the middle of the final segment BC UMMC took full control of the game. In the emotional ending, after another three-ruble note of the captain, the "foxes" came out ahead by four points - 62:58. From "Dynamo " the captain's reply followed - 62:60, but Tatyana Vidmer did not manage to play to the end due to too many fouls.

Emma Meesseman in the jump again increased the personal score of UMMC to 4 points - 66 : 62. "Dynamo " used every chance: Hollingsworth, 18 seconds before the siren, closed the distance between the opponents from the foul line - 66:64. Keila McBride responded from the same point after Sonya Petrovich's mistake, and our club won the final series of the Russian Championship - 3: 0 (68:64). BC UMMC completed the 2018-2019 season with a complete champion collection. "Foxes " won all the tournaments in which they participated - the Euroleague, the Russian Championship, the European Super Cup and the Russian Cup.
