To implement the investment project, the issue of creating a special economic zone in Zheleznogorsk is being considered, said the Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoit.

The program provides for investments in the amount of more than 21 billion rubles in a set of technological and environmental measures with a direct environmental effect at all production sites of Metalloinvest. At the same time, 70% of the budget of the program will be made up of the Clean Air project aimed at improving the quality of atmospheric air.
Currently, the Company has begun developing a Climate Program, which will formulate goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
