JSC Uralelectromed (an enterprise of the metallurgical complex of UMMC) summed up the results of training for seven months. Since the beginning of the year, 1,599 workers, 1,000 managers and specialists have been trained. Due to epidemiological restrictions, the training center organized distance learning for workers by profession: slinger, installer of sanitary systems and equipment, hydrometallurgist; knowledge test under the program "Fire and technical minimum for electric and gas welders" and the course "Master of industrial training".
According to the head of the training center of JSC "Uralelectromed" Galina Ostarkova, training and advanced training of workers is carried out in accordance with the license for educational activities. The training is carried out for blue-collar occupations in demand at the enterprise. The training center has more than 230 training programs in its arsenal. Practical training, which takes 65% of the study time, is carried out directly at the workplace in the divisions of the enterprise.

In accordance with the requirements of the legislation, in 2020, a connection to the Information System "Single Testing Portal" of Rostechnadzor was organized. This resource is intended for certification of workers in the field of industrial safety.
The main partner of the enterprise in personnel training is the UMMC Technical University, where this year 497 people were trained in additional professional programs. Training in a corporate university is carried out according to 300 training programs, which are drawn up taking into account plans for the technical development of UMMC enterprises, general corporate objectives (introduction of new technologies, corporate information systems, resource saving programs, increasing labor efficiency, lean production).
Note that employees with secondary vocational education can receive higher technical education under the correspondence bachelor's and master's programs at TU UMMC. To date, 43 employees of the company are trained in higher education programs in such topical areas as - "Metallurgy", "Electricity", "Automation", "Technological machines" and "Economics".
At JSC "Uralelectromed" an effective personnel training system has been created, which covers a wide range of areas: from advanced training of existing personnel to targeted training of young specialists and vocational guidance of schoolchildren. Thus, young workers undergo training under the Young Professionals Internship program, where they get acquainted with the activities of the enterprise, corporate culture, and work out tasks that are relevant for the divisions. Over 23 years, 598 people have completed the internship program. The program "Training of line managers of structural divisions" was organized especially for young managers. The purpose of the program: to teach managers who are just starting out in modern methods of interaction with personnel, to develop their managerial competencies, thereby improving the work of the unit and the entire enterprise. More than 60 people underwent training under the program.
Every year, since 2001, employees of Uralelectromed JSC take part in the President's program for training management personnel for enterprises of the national economy of the Russian Federation. To date, 88 people have successfully completed the program, most of whom hold managerial positions.
In the second half of 2020, the HR service plans to implement more than a dozen projects: introduce a distance learning system, organize training of personnel for workers specialties in the workshops of the "Center for Demonstration Exams", conduct training on industrial safety in the training center, organize the participation of Uralelectromed JSC teams in the final of the "Engineering 2020" competition, and more.
