According to the results of participation in the All-Russian competition of the program "100 best goods of Russia-2020", brass radiator tape of the L85 brand, of increased manufacturing accuracy, entered the absolute hundred best goods and was awarded the Golden Hundred diploma.
Brass tapes for radiators of the Kirovsky plant OCM (part of UMMC-OCM, which unites the UMMC assets for the processing of non-ferrous metals) are non-ferrous flat metal products. Products made from them can be operated in constant contact with moisture and aggressive media, without losing their operational properties when heated or at critical temperatures. This type of product has a great consumer demand in the domestic market due to its high quality characteristics: brass is not toxic and, being inferior in strength to steel, significantly outstrips it in terms of plasticity. Plasticity allows parts to be formed by extrusion and stamping.
The prestigious title of "Competition Laureate" gives the plant the right to use the trademark "100 best goods of Russia", which contributes to increased competitiveness and increased sales.
Also for the achievement of high results in the field of quality, competitiveness and safety of domestic goods, the Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant was awarded a special prize - "Quality Leader"
