Mednogorsk (Orenburg region)
The road transport section of the Mednogorsk copper and sulfur plant (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex) has been replenished with a new truck crane with a lifting capacity of 32 tons.
A new crane based on the KAMAZ chassis -65115 was made at the Kamyshin crane plant and costs about 9 million rubles. The equipment was purchased to replace a worn-out automobile jib crane (lifting capacity - 25 tons, boom length - 20 meters), which had served more than 17 years. The received KS-5576K truck crane with a lifting capacity of 32 tons has improved operational characteristics in control, has a four-section telescopic boom with a lifting height of 30.7 meters. Its cabin is equipped with air conditioning.
- A truck crane based on a KAMAZ vehicle has the same dimensions as the old truck crane, and will be used in almost all divisions of the plant - copper smelting workshop, overhaul workshop, sulfuric acid workshop and others ... This technique allows us to lift cargo to higher horizons, thus, with the same costs for its maintenance, we will have a much better and more efficient return, - says the head of the road transport section of the Railway Center Konstantin Averyanov.
In total in 2020 the railway workshop of the plant, which includes the road transport section, received eight units of machinery and equipment worth more than 140 million rubles.
