The Museum of the Metallurgical Industry in Cherepovets, following the results of the first competition of the Government of the Vologda Region for subsidizing socially oriented NGOs in 2021, received financial support for the implementation of the Opening New Horizons project.
This project is aimed at additional education for children with disabilities. In total, within the framework of the project, additional education is planned for 225 participants who will visit the excursions of the Museum of the Metallurgical Industry and the Museum of Military Equipment "Victory Park", take part in educational programs, scientific experiments and master classes on decorative and applied art.
The Museum of the Metallurgical Industry was opened by Severstal in 2015. It tells about the history of the iron industry and presents the metallurgy of the future using modern technologies, and also performs the main task of vocational guidance for young people.
