Severstal, Power Machines, Lenta, Nordgold and TUI Russia, which are part of Severgroup (a large investment company that manages assets in the interests of Alexey Mordashov), supported the creation of an audio guide with tiflo comments for visually impaired visitors The State Russian Museum.
In one of the halls of the Mikhailovsky Palace, an audio guide was presented with stylized comments and relief images about the work of the great Russian artists Karl Bryullov and Ivan Aivazovsky. In the materials of the audio guide - biographies of artists, descriptions of paintings with musical accompaniment, interesting facts from the history of canvases and tiflo commentaries (concise descriptions of objects that help blind people perceive visual information).
Mobile stands with a tactile plan of movement in the museum space were also presented and relief images of 10 famous works of painters.
The recording of the audio guide was attended by specialized museum staff in charge of the sector of social cultural and methodological programs, as well as professional actors. Tactile models were created by specialists involved in the complex adaptation of museum expositions for people with limited mobility, blind and visually impaired visitors. Specialized equipment is made using modern technologies, all materials used are safe and ensure the durability and quality of products.
The presentation was attended by authoritative experts in the field of inclusive education from institutions for the blind and visually impaired, the organization of the All-Russian Society of the Blind.
