In the period from May 12 to May 28, the training of the WorldSkills Russia national team on the international competence "Production of metal structures" takes place at the GAPOU "Naberezhnye Chelny Polytechnic College".
This year, the "Production of metal structures" has become the main one within the framework of WorldSkills Russia.
The training of the team is supported by JSC "Plant Prodmash", one of the leading manufacturers of metal structures for the road sector, which accompanies the competence within the framework of the movement, and the main partner of the competence of ESAB – one of the leaders in the production of equipment and consumables for welding and cutting.

All tasks are performed by participants using welding equipment and materials that will be used in the final of the WorldSkills Russia National Championship in Ufa on July 21-25, 2021. The coach of the national team, Zulfat Singatullov, stressed that " the opportunity to train on modern equipment in conditions as close as possible to the competition is extremely important for the participants. It is wonderful that today the business is not indifferent to the contestants!»
Also on May 18, the event was attended by the chief engineer of the KAMAZ-Master team, Vyacheslav Mizyukayev. Vyacheslav got acquainted with the competition tasks and inspected the workshop, noting the high level of work performed and their practical orientation, and also expressed interest on the part of KAMAZ-MASTER in the development of competence.
"I am pleasantly surprised by the level of development of the college and the really high-quality work of the contestants, even in comparison with the industrial requirements - the work of the children is performed at a very high level," said Vyacheslav.
At the end of the visit, he addressed the college students with a parting word and assured them of the importance of developing practical skills and the demand for the profession, including in their hometown.
"It is very cool to work with people who have bright eyes and who do everything so that students get the necessary skills and are able not only to weld metals, but also to cut them, to carry out bending and locksmithing. Students are our future, and we are happy to help them get acquainted with the most modern technologies and equipment, " concluded Stanislav Konov, Head of Cooperation with educational organizations at ESAB.
