The construction scheme of the belt magnetic separator includes a flexible belt mounted on a frame, which is driven by the conveyor principle using a 1.5 kW electric motor. In working mode when the belt is moving:
- A powerful electromagnet is activated.
- The rock (garbage, rubbish) transported along the belt passes through the field of action of the magnet.
- Metal particles weighing up to 5 kg are attracted by a magnet and remain on the belt.
At the place of "dumping" of metal particles separated in this way (it is recommended to install a special container for collection under the unit), the action of the magnet ends. The separated metal is "dropped" (separated from the tape). The processed rock or waste is sent for recycling.
The small overall dimensions of the separator (1084x2351x592 mm) allow it to be installed almost anywhere in the production shop. It does not require the preparation of a special bed. It is enough to have a flat, hard-surfaced floor. The total weight of the equipment is 770 kg, it is installed on 4 support bases (included).
