Pipe cuttingandchamfering

To ensure high-quality manufacturing of elements of pipeline systems and metal structures, it is necessary to strictly observe the accuracy of the geometric parameters of the workpieces and ensure high quality of the treated surface of their ends. That is why modern industrial production uses specialized machines designed for cutting pipes and profiles of various diameters and materials, as well as for subsequent deburring and creating smooth chamfers on the edges of finished products.

High-precision equipment, namely machines for cutting pipes and profiles, can significantly improve the characteristics of finished products, minimize the number of defects and reduce labor costs associated with manual quality control or additional mechanical surface treatment.

The main types of machines:

Pipe cutting machines

These devices are designed to produce a neat and uniform cut along the entire circumference of pipes made of metal (steel, aluminum), plastic and composites, regardless of their outer diameter and wall thickness. Such machines are used mainly where strict section geometry, high cut purity and minimization of deviations from the set parameters are required.

Chamfering equipment

Such machines are used for finishing the edges of pipe-shaped products by giving them a smooth transition between the plane of the end and the cylindrical surface of the pipe body. The chamfered zone prevents the formation of sharp corners, reduces the risk of damage to working tools and facilitates subsequent welding, soldering or assembly of structural elements.

Design features:

Modern machines have a modular design, which makes it possible to flexibly customize them for specific tasks of a particular enterprise. The basic configuration of most models contains the following components:

Fastening and centering device of the processed part;

Cutting tools (circular saws, milling cutters, lasers);

The drive for feeding the tool and/or moving the workpiece;

Positioning accuracy control elements;

Additional devices for automating the change of equipment.

Industrial applications:

The use of specialized machines is most in demand in the following industries:

- Mechanical engineering – manufacture of components of vehicles, industrial equipment, construction machinery and mechanisms;

- Construction – creation of elements of engineering communications, frameworks
