Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Liu He called for the modernization of industry using 5G technology. Xinhua reports.
Liu He, who is also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made these remarks in his written address to the 2021 China 5G Plus Industrial Internet Conference, which opened Saturday in Wuhan, the provincial capital. Hubei (Central China).
The country's 5G advantages and diverse use cases need to be fully exploited to improve the weak links of the Industrial Internet and creatively address industry challenges, Liu He noted.
He also called on financial institutions to increase support for enterprise innovation, as well as explore the possibilities of using digital technology to expand lending to businesses and ease the financial hardships of small and medium-sized enterprises.
