China to cut port and air fees to reduce business burden

China plans to abolish port building fees and further cut civil aviation development fund contributions to ease the burden on businesses and improve the business environment, the PRC Ministry of Finance said.

Fees for the construction of ports should be abolished from January 1, 2021, the ministry said.

And airlines' contributions to the Civil Aviation Development Fund will be reduced by another 20% from April 1, 2021, in addition to the 50% reduction measures that were implemented earlier, the document says.
