French steel manufacturer unveils Solterra modular solar design

The French steel manufacturer Manorga, which entered the solar energy sector about two years ago, has developed a new generation solar power plant design that can be dismantled and reassembled without harming the earth.

Solterra has developed this steel structure specifically for ground-based solar power plants designed for projects requiring temporary use or fully reversible installations. The Solterra system consists of fully removable modular components. It can be installed on site without the need for large-scale construction work, and it is just as easy to dismantle and reassemble elsewhere. This provides a significant advantage for short-term projects, temporarily allocated land, or facilities whose purpose may change in the future.

The structure, made of the company's proprietary steel, is highly resistant to external influences and mechanical stress. Thanks to this material, the risk of deformation or damage remains minimal even after multiple assembly and disassembly cycles, making the system suitable for multiple installations.

Solterra's modular infrastructure is designed to adapt to different types of soil. The system is compatible with pile, concrete foundations or ballast fastening methods. This allows you to reuse the same structure on objects with different geographical characteristics or surface.

Manorga has designed Solterra to minimize on-site intervention time. Most components are pre-prepared at the factory and can be quickly assembled on site using standard parts. This significantly reduces labor costs and installation time.

The company emphasizes that Solterra is particularly suitable for the development of land plots, regions intended for temporary use, or lands without a long-term purpose. Due to its "unobtrusive removable" design, the site does not undergo constant changes; after dismantling the system, the site can easily return to its original purpose.
