Miners are preparing to picket the Luhansk civil-military administration

On Tuesday morning, the striking miners of the mines "Gornaya", "Novodruzheskaya", "Carbonit" were joined by the miners of mine No. 9 "Novovolynskaya" of the State Enterprise "Volynugol". The chairman announced this on his Facebook page Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mykhailo Volynets.

According to him, the miners are preparing to picket the Luhansk regional military-civil administration in Severodonetsk.

Volynets said that the decision to resume electricity supplies under direct contracts from Russia is "a path to the complete elimination of the coal industry" in Ukraine.

“We expect that in the near future the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada will consider and support the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to amend the state budget to allocate 1 billion hryvnia, which will cover most of the debt to miners,” Volynets wrote.
