EVRAZ will not increase its stake in PJSC Raspadskaya, one of the largest coal companies in Russia. This was announced to journalists by the president of the holding, Alexander Frolov, in London at the Investor Day.
Raspadskaya PJSC is the main coal mining asset of EVRAZ, supplying coking coal to the largest Russian metallurgical enterprises - MMK (Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant), NLMK (Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant) and EVRAZ enterprises.
PJSC Raspadskaya adheres to a dividend policy similar to that of EVRAZ, which implies minimum payments, but guaranteed regardless of the market situation. This dividend policy, according to Alexander Frolov, is not planned to be changed.
In February, PJSC Raspadskaya announced an increase in EVRAZ's share from 83.8% to 84.3%.
