As of today, 59 miners of PJSC "Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant" are taking part in the protest against low wages.

As of September 29, 59 miners are continuing the underground strike in Krivoy Rog. Yesterday, according to the leader of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine (NPGU), Mykhailo Volynts, underground 62 miners protested .

24 employees of the Oktyabrskaya mine and 35 employees of the Rodina mine do not rise to the surface for 27 days in a row.

A total of 59 people are on strike now. Kryvyi Rih miners demand better working conditions and higher wages. Yesterday residents of Krivoy Rog came out to support the striking miners.

Many of the miners and members of the mining families of Kryvbas came to Kiev this week to intensify the protest with rallies in the capital's government quarter.

Miners demand to raise wages by 30%, improve working conditions and return benefits.

The administration of Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant, PJSC, within the framework of a memorandum of understanding and fulfillment of counterclaims signed with the employees of the enterprise, has increased tariff rates and official salaries by 10-25% since September 1 of this year.
