Administration of PJSC "Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant" reported about an increase in tariff rates and official salaries of employees by 10% from October 1.
The order to raise was preceded by protests by miners who spent almost a month underground, refusing to come to the surface.
The miners' demands were, in addition to raising wages by 30%, improving working conditions and returning benefits.
The strike began on September 3, and already on September 10, the administration of Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant PJSC increased salaries of employees retroactively (from September 1) by 20%.
On behalf of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, PJSC "Kryvbaszhelezrudkom" is undergoing an unscheduled check by the Main Directorate of the State Labor Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region on compliance with labor legislation for seven years of work.
The head of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mykhailo Volynets said today that 24 miners of the Oktyabrskaya mine continue an underground protest for 28 days, on September 29, Rodina miners rose to the surface.
Public Joint Stock Company "Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant" is the largest private enterprise in Ukraine for the extraction of iron ore by the underground method. The Rodina, Oktyabrskaya, Gvardeyskaya, Ternovskaya mines are the main structural divisions of the plant.
The plant is managed by Igor Kolomoisky's Privat Group and Rinat Akhmetov's and Vadim Novinsky's Metinvest companies.
